There is already some information about the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, but much of it has not yet been secured. Because the official presentation will probably take place on September 28th. Xiaomi is to further expand the strengths of its Mi 10 with the T-series, OnePlus is also pursuing a similar strategy with its own T-series. Before the unveiling, Xiaomi had both new smartphones certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA and the Bureau of India Standards (BIS) in India. As a result, the network frequencies were published and conclusions can be drawn about other hardware.
First Xiaomi smartphone with Android 11 out of the box?
The Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro only appear under their model numbers in the lists of the authorities, but it is practically certain that these will be the two new flagships. According to the BIS, both devices will support 5G and will be able to connect via Wi-Fi 6. There is also NFC and Bluetooth, although no version number was specified here. MIUI 12 is the software on the devices, and Android 11 will probably be preinstalled here. Xiaomi was one of the first manufacturers to provide their devices with the latest Android version. It remains to be seen whether the company can bring the first new smartphone with preinstalled Android 11 onto the market. Last year, this honor went to OnePlus.
Under the hood of both devices is the Snapdragon 865. This is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM in the Pro version. When it comes to the size of the internal memory, customers can choose between 128 GB and 256 GB; memory expansion via microSD card will probably be possible. A particular highlight of the phone was unveiled some time ago, meaning the super-fluid 144 Hertz display.
